NewsPlayStation 3D Display Bundle Only $399.99 at Amazon, Best Buy
Early this month retail outlets were offering a PlayStation 3D Display BUndle along with a PS3 tie-in. The promotion offered you a new PS3 for only $100 when you purchase Sony's PlayStation 3D Display for $499.99. The new promotion from several retailers, however, are abandoning that PS3 tie-in. Scrapping the bonus offer, you can now purchase the PlayStation 3D Display for $399.99, a 20% savings from its original $499.99 price.
Though some many consider the display size lackluster, the ability to play blockbuster titles like Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, Batman: Arkham City, and Assassin's Creed: Revelations in 3D may warrant the new purchase. The bundle includes the 24" SimulView Display, PlayStation 3D Glasses, MotorStorm: Apocalypse game and HDMI cable.
"Featuring a luminous 24” LCD screen with full HD 1080p 3D presentation, the 3D Display delivers an incredible high-definition stereoscopic 3D experience, offering best-in-class visuals in both 2D and 3D for all of you gamers. As our first official gaming display, the 3D Display is enhanced for gaming with SimulView, a special feature that allows you to view individual, unique, full-screen images of gameplay in two-player mode."
Both Best Buy and Amazon are offering the same $399.99 sale price. However, if you prefer to purchase the 3D Display in person, users are reporting that Best Buy is offering the same promotion in-store. It should be noted that Newegg is also offering this same deal, though they are currently sold out online.
