Cthulhu Saves the World Hits 100K Sales on Steam

I was a big supporter of Cthulhu Saves the World and developer Zeboyd Games' decision to port the comedy RPG over to Steam. After having delivered less than satisfactory sales as an Xbox Live Indie Games title, the dev decided to move the game to the PC. In one week, Cthulhu Saves the World, which was bundled with Breath of Death VII: The Beginning, outsold its Xbox 360 counterpart.

Now, Zeboyd has released a nice little update on the sales of the game. Since launch, Cthulhu Saves the World and Breath of Death VII have pushed 100,000+ downloads. Impressive much? Hell yes!

The dual pack costs a measly $3, so it's safe to say that if you enjoy RPGs and love humor in your games, Cthulhu Saves the World is for you. I awarded both games 8/10 scores back in the summer when they originally launched on Steam, and I couldn't recommend them enough. Throughout both titles, I was constantly treated to some hilarious dialogue and old school references.

If you dig RPGs, you should definitely support Zeboyd Games by purchasing Cthulhu Saves the World and Breath of Death VII. It's great to see a small scale dev come back from poor sales and achieve notable success. Zeboyd certainly deserves it after delivering two top notch games.
