NewsDevs Hoping for Modern Warfare 3 "Pre-Holiday" Patch Release
Infinity Ward's Creative Strategist Robert Bowling updated fans today on the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 patch aimed at "addressing "laggy" gameplay for some users."
Robert Bowling announced via Twitter today, "Lots of #MW3 updates planned this week. We'll be addressing "laggy" games, stat loss prevention, & more."
In addition to what the Modern Warfare 3 update will address, Bowling gave an estimated timeframe that they developers are aiming for.
"Pushing for pre-Holiday release!" revealed Bowling. Shortly after, he clarified that he meant pre-Thanksgiving, and not Christmas. For those outside of America, Thanksgiving is this Thursday, so you should expect a patch soon. Of course, that is only a target date, so it could in fact be later.
IW already pushed out an update fixing stealth bomber exploit on PC, but as for what the upcoming patch will fix, Bowling clarified that he will eventually "be posting up some changelogs for all the updates since launch. Probably post-Thanksgiving update."
