Whether you like it or not, DLC is here to stay, with developers now planning for content releases not more than a few weeks past the game's launch. Such is the case with the Assassin's Creed Revelations Ancestors Character Pack, which offers four exclusive multiplayer characters which maybe should've been included with the original game. Oh well...

These four characters are the Privateer (see: Pirate), the beautiful Corsair, the bloodthirsty Brigand, and the... wait, the press release describes the Gladiator as bloodthirsty, and says the Brigand is actually battle-tested. My mistake. Each character has unique taunts, weapons and stylized assassination moves, though how much they influence the actual multiplayer gameplay remains to be seen.
