NewsStar Wars: The Old Republic Playable at DreamHack Winter 2011
BioWare and LucasArts are attending DreamHack, the yearly event held in Jönköping, Sweden that many consider the largest "LAN party" in the world. They are bringing with them playable versions of Star Wars: The Old Republic giving people who attend the event a chance to play the highly anticipated MMORPG before its worldwide launch on December 20th.
The DreamHack event begins at 8:00AM CET on Thursday, November 24th and runs, non-stop, until 8:00AM CET on Sunday, November 27th. Members of BioWare’s European Community Team will be on hand throughout the weekend.
Star Wars: The Old Republic has been sending out invites for beta test weekends, with the most recent testing window scheduled for this weekend starting at 5PM Central Time.
