NewsNinja Gaiden 3 to Be a Wii U Launch Title
When individuals in attendance at E3 saw that Ninja Gaiden 3 was being planned for the Wii U during the console's big reveal, there was a distinct pop in the audience. People respect Ninja Gaiden, and seeing it as a possible Wii U title really got gamers excited. Tecmo Koei eventually stated that the game would be developed to take full advantage of the console's tech, and it would be titled Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge.
Now, it seems the game may launch alongside the Wii U. According to Andriasang, Tecmo Koei recently held an earnings presentation and released several presentation materials that indicated the game may arrive on the Wii U's launch. This is certainly interesting, and it should get the attention of fans of the series who are considering purchasing the Wii U.
The platform is currently scheduled to launch in the later half of 2012. If all goes according to plan and the Nintendo devs can iron out all of the issues they were rumored to be having, that means we'll be seeing Razor's Edge in less than a year. What that means is that gamers will have a third-party launch title worth watching out for.
I really think Nintendo needs to bring out the big guns for the Wii U's launch. Razor's Edge is a great way to kick off the console's release. If it can procure a few more noteworthy third-party franchises, it's safe to say that the Wii U launch will be worth keeping an eye on.
