NewsFake MineCon Tickets Being Sold for First Minecraft Convention
The first official Minecraft convention is rapidly approaching, and within two weeks fans for the first time can celebrate the "full" launch of the game. MineCon is dedicated to all things Minecraft, including the Pocket Edition, Xbox 360 version, and even Scrolls - another title from Mojang.
Exactly one week ago, MineCon sold out. Still, fans are more desperate than ever to get into the Minecraft convention, even taking the risk of buying tickets from third party sources.
According to Mojang's Managing Director Carl Manneh, these fans should be careful. Earlier he warned fans that "fake MineCon tickets being sold by third party." He stated that the only way to transfer a ticket is by going through Mojang. The convention is still sold out, but in the event that you wish to transfer your ticket to a friend you can do so by filling out a form. It should be mentioned that transferring your MineCon ticket results in the loss of your MineCon cape.
Minecon is set to take place in Las Vegas on November 18th and 19th.
