NBA 2K11 Servers Shutting Down Mid-November

NBA 2K12 is enjoying incredible success, lauded by many as the best basketball game of all time (with our own Lance Liebl scoring the game an incredible 9.5/10). Unfortunately, that means that last year's NBA 2K11 must now be retired, with 2KSports dropping news on their forums that the game's servers could be shut down as early as November 16th.

Though this obviously encourages gamers to pick up the latest installment, many achievement hunters will likely continue playing right up until the final minute, working to add some last minute points to their Gamerscore before the opportunity disapears.
