NewsSega Announces 3DS Release Dates for Sonic Generations, Shinobi, Others
Sega's official blog has just broken word on the release dates for a slew of anticipated Nintendo 3DS titles. This holiday season will definitely prove exciting for 3DS owners, who have been seeing a drought of games following the console's disapointing launch.
Shinobi
Sega's much beloved ninja platformer returns to 2D glory on November 15th. This is definitely one of the more exciting IPs now exclusive to 3DS, and it will hopefully play as good as it looks.
Sonic Generations
Though the game's November 22nd launch puts it a few weeks past the home console version at the start of the month, portable gamers will be sure to enjoy the variety of special content exclusive to the 3DS, with some stages that won't be seen on either PS3 or 360.
Crush 3D
This interesting puzzle game lets players "crush" the 3d environment into a 2d one, enabling some crazy puzzle gameplay. Here the moody graphical style of the PSP version has been brightened up considerably, and it definitely works. You can help bathrobe-clad protagonist Danny crush his way to the end on January 10th.
Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
A game with stupidly long name, but definitely something that will be on the wish list for many young gamers. Mario and Sonic return to the Olympic Games with this scaled-down Mario Party clone. Look for it in stores on February 10th, 2012.
