Riot Games has just released a video hyping the Season Two Circuit of the highly popular and very competitive League of Legends. As one of the fastsest growing eSports games, the League of Legends Season 1 championship broke viewership records.
With that being said, Riot Games co-founder Marc Merrill has announced Riots' plans for Season Two of League of Legends. This season, League of Legends is giving countless players opportunities to vie for their share the unprecedented $5 million prize pool. The prizing will be distrubted throughout the season, culminating in a $2 million global championship tournament.
"Over the course of the Circuit, the most prestigious live events will award Circuit Points, allowing the participants to advance in the official Season Two standings. At the end of the Season, the top competitors from each region will advance to the Regional Championships, where they will go head-to-head to determine who will represent their region in at the League of Legends Season Two Championship!"
Season Two also introduces the brand new Spectator Mode. Spectator Mode enables viewers to track kill count, total gold earned, and each item every champion has. Along with that, you can follow specific champions.
