NewsWWE 12 Demo Will Not Appear on Xbox Live or PlayStation Network
This may see a little odd, but it appears as if the WWE 12 demo will not appear on Xbox Live or PlayStation Network. According to COry Ledesma, Creative Director for THQ CORE Fighting Group, the WWE 12 demo will only be available in retail stores.
When asked by a fan via Twitter if it was true that WWE '12's demo will only be featured inside retail stores by asking, "In store demo ONLY?? To quote The Miz: Really?? Really? Really? Really? Beyond lame if true." First of all, I don't know why any wrestling fan would EVER quote The Miz, but that's beyond the point.
Cory Ledesma responded with, "I don't make those decisions. At least it's in stores."
At least? Like THQ is doing wrestling fans a favor by making the WWE 12 demo available only in retail stores. I'd like to know THQ's reasoning behind an in-store demo only for the year's biggest wrestling title. They must have some sort of promotion planned. Whatever the reason, I feel like every big-named game should have some sort of XBL or PSN demo available for Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 gamers.
