NewsDiablo III Screenshots Tease Opening Cimenatic
Today, Blizzard teased two REALLY REALLY hi-def images from what appears to be the opening Diablo III cinematic. Blizzard, never one to skimp out on the quality of their cinematic trailers and cutscenes, might be hinting at an official debut of the Diablo III opening cinematic during the upcoming BlizzCon convention. The images show Leah, narrator of the Diablo III introductory cinematic and main character of Diablo III, peering into the darkness.
BlizzCon is Blizzard's annual convention dedicated to Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo. Diablo III is easily their most hyped game right now, and these screenshots definitely give fans reason to be excited, as if hands-on demos with the game weren't enough.
Blizzard revealed the following CG images with a headline that read, "Peer not into the shadows of the hells..."

"...For there is always something peering back."

"Man's pleasures give way to pain. His truths are buried in the shroud of lies. It is this time when Hell shall reign. While all of man dies." - From the Guhawj Cave Inscriptions in Kehjistan, inked in blood by an unknown author.
Holy crap! Aside from the stunning detail put into the beautiful Leah, it's hard to ignore that giant creature peering back at her. Fans have been debating who that exact creature is, but have narrowed it down to either Belial or Azmodan (Fetlock).
Regardless of who it is, fans should expect to find see more come Friday and Saturday during BlizzCon.
