NewsMinecraft Item Enchantment Delayed
First we had armour upgrades and enchantments. Then we had potion brewing. Then we had full blown item enchantments. Then we had baby animals! As it turns out, we might not have not have Item Enchanments after all--at least for the time being.
Today, Notch announced that he and Jens Bergensten have started on "something epic".
"Me and @Jeb_ decided to just get started on something epic. This is going to be fun. :D #enchantmentdelayed"
Oh boy. I can't wait to see what the twisted mind of Notch will bring us in next update. I can only imagine what that "something epic" is going to be. Unfortunately, we are going to have to wait and see until Notch or Jens tease us with something else.
Of course, knowing Notch, he might delay this project for something even more epic tomorrow. I picture his office walls lined with yellow sticky notes filled with all of the ideas of things he wants to add to Minecraft. Notch and Jens are working on (and teasing) so many features before the November launch of Minecraft that it's getting impossible to keep track of--let alone predict when they'll be released.
The best approach I can give Minecraft fans: It'll happen when it happens. And if it's anything like the 1.9 pre-release update, it'll happen when you least expect it.
Oh Notch, how you tug at us with your sneaky Minecraft strings.
