Dane Cook, Others Celebrities Choose Modern Warfare 3 Over Battlefield 3

When you think gaming, Dane Cook is obviously the first person who comes to mind.

GameZone caught up with Dane Cook at the RAGE launch party in Chinatown where we drilled him with numerous gaming questions including the hottest question of 2011:  Modern Warfare 3 or Battlefield 3?

When asked if he preferred Modern Warfare 3 or Battlefield 3, Cook revealed, "I've been friends with the guys over at Call of Duty and Modern Warfare for years, so that's kinda been my home base."

"I'm sure they'll consistently, as they have done, make that game genius.  That's my pick."

Of course, when you have the money like Dane Cook has, you don't really have to pick one over the other and as Cook revealed when asked of upcoming games on his radar:

"I'll be getting Battlefield 3.  I'll be getting Modern Warfare 3."

I guess that's one of the perks of being a successful comedian.  The luxury of purchasing both games.  What really shocked me was the "emulator kick" he claimed he was on.  You'd think a guy like Cook, with unlimited cash flow, wouldn't have to skimp out on purchasing those retro consoles.  Either way, Cook gained some serious gaming street-cred by dropping the Atari Adventure game.

Of course, Dane Cook wasn't the only one who preferred Modern Warfare 3 over Battlefield 3.  Actors/brothers Edwin and Aldis Hodge picked their Modern Warfare 3 vs Battlefield 3 winner as well.  Both brothers proudly proclaimed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 as the winner.

"We're loyal Call of Duty fans.  We're not saying anything to anybody else, but Call of Duty's it."

Well, the battle between Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 continues to RAGE (ilovepuns) on, but now we know what side the celebs are on.
