Developer Techland has announced that Dead Island's first DLC has been delayed due to time investment in fixing the main game. If you're unfamiliar with Dead Island, the title shipped with numerous game-breaking bugs that have plagued the excellent zombie experience. The DLC, titled Bloodbath Arena, was scheduled to hit the Xbox LIve Marketplace this month and feature several new weapons and features for players to get their hands on.
“We are working hard to make the Bloodbath Arena DLC available as soon as possible,” the announcement stated on the company's Facebook. “However, due to further polishing of the main game the finalization of the DLC code has been delayed. We know that many fans are eagerly waiting for it and apologize for any inconvenience. We expect to announce a release update next week.”
