Sears is well known for offering a wide variety of items, including domestic appliances, tools & hardware, consumer electronics and clothing. Most recently however, the forum goers of internet site 4chan discovered that Sears.com was offering a rather peculiar new line of branded items. Specifically, the "King DeDeDe Drooling While Eating" line of printed collectables, which feature Kirby's eternal nemesis doing something rather upsetting to one of his minions…
If you think you might want to seek out the uncensored version, trust me, you don't.
The upsetting listings apparently came courtesy of a "Carson's Collectables," which seems to offer a wide range of items all branded with a variety of stolen content. I'm really hoping there's some terrible image-stealing robot out there responsible for this. The only other explanation is that there's somebody at this company who got to thinking: "Alright, the big deal just came through to let us sell our wares on the Sears website. Time to get our name out there with some hardcore Nintendo porn!" Or maybe they were just hoping to capitalize on the success of Kirby Mass Attack (read our review!)
The horrifying image comes courtesy of FurAffinity artist StormDragonBlue (for the love of god don't click that link), who seems to find the whole incident pretty amusing, saying " I have no idea what the guy who used the image was thinking at the time but you win and fail at once in my book." There's been no word on how Nintendo feels about a major American retailer selling unlicensed pornographic images of one of their flagship characters, though knowing how weird Japanese porn can be, we're assuming they'll let this one slide.
