New Year, New LUXOR for Nintendo
Wii

MumboJumbo’s Egyptian
action-shooter puzzle game launched for Wii format

One of the most popular casual games
is now available for the most popular console. Dallas-based casual game
developer MumboJumbo launched LUXOR Pharaoh’s Challenge today, its first game
for the Nintendo Wii™ system.

The Nintendo Wii takes LUXOR action
to a whole new level by allowing the player to become even more involved in the
Egyptian-themed game by taking over control of the scarab shooter. The game that
brings pyramids, temples and the marvels of ancient Egypt to life was previously
launched for the Sony PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) and Nintendo DS™ in December
and the PlayStation®2 in November.

LUXOR: Pharaoh’s Challenge for the
Wii has an MSRP of $39.99 and will arrive at national retailers on the heels of
a very successful holiday season for Nintendo’s Wii. According to Amazon.com,
Wii products dominated five out of the top ten slots for best sellers in their
video games category, while market researchers at VG Chartz report that 8.38
million Wii units have been sold in the U.S., with a total of 19.35 million sold
worldwide, thus making Wii the number one selling console currently.

Since the LUXOR franchise first
launched in 2005, the games have been downloaded more than 65 million times
worldwide and have sold more than 500,000 units at retailers nationwide. The
game’s popularity is a prime example of the expansion of the casual game
industry, which is growing at a pace of 20 percent a year according to the
Casual Games Association.

“It seemed only appropriate that our
first game for the Nintendo Wii would be our franchise title, LUXOR,” said Mark
Cottam, CEO of MumboJumbo. “The enhanced game play and beautiful graphics
offered by Pharaoh’s Challenge will meld perfectly with the interaction offered
by the Wii—prepare to become an addict!”

Winner of numerous awards, including
being named the number one casual game of 2005, the franchise has been expanded
with enhanced design quality and gameplay mechanics. LUXOR: Pharaoh’s Challenge,
designed specifically for the gaming console, exposes players to perfectly
rendered levels and exclusive features, including five sphere-pushing scarabs, a
ranking system that progressively increases power-up effectiveness and 13
all-new blessings that can be activated to make any level manageable.
