NAMCO BANDAI Games Licenses Terminal Reality’s
Infernal Engine for Upcoming Wii title

NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., is the latest
publisher to realize the amazing flexibility of Terminal Realitys Infernal
Engine. Infernal Engine offers the highest visual fidelity of any available
engine middleware for the Wii and NAMCO BANDAI has selected the Infernal Engine
to power the upcoming video game title Food Network: Cook or Be Cooked ,
developed by Red Fly Studio and scheduled for release later this year.

By using the Infernal Engine to power Food
Network: Cook or Be Cooked, NAMCO BANDAI Games America and Red Fly Studio are
creating a cooking game where the food actually looks edible, said Joe Kreiner,
VP Sales and Marketing at Terminal Reality. Because of the power and versatility
of the Infernal Engine virtual chefs will be able to do pretty much anything a
chef in the real world can do, from opening and closing cabinet doors to adding
varying amounts of spices. For developers who want to make games for the
Nintendo Wii they cant go wrong with the Infernal Engine.

The Infernal Engine is a powerful tool for
creating realistic looking titles for the Nintendo Wii used by. developers the
world over. Developers have been flocking to the Infernal Engine because of the
ease with which the engine scales between systems, its streamlined content
pipeline which maximizes productivity, and Terminal Reality’s best in class
support.

We are extremely pleased to be using Terminal
Realitys Infernal Engine for Food Network: Cook or Be Cooked as it is a full
featured, unified environment for game development, said Mike Morishita,
executive producer, NAMCO BANDAI Games America With rendering, special effects,
scripting and audio tools ready to go, our team at Red Fly Studio was able to
focus on what is truly important for the title — cooking up a storm.
