More SoulCalibur IV Characters are Revealed
with New Assets
NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. today released
new art and screens for Soulcalibur IV, the latest entry to their acclaimed
weapons-based fighting game franchise. The new assets showcase Setsuka, who
returns from Soulcalibur III, along with two new guest characters: Ashlotte and
Shura who were created specifically for the game by famed manga artists and
character designers.

Soulcalibur IV is set to showcase the epic
struggle between the spirit sword Soul Calibur and the cursed sword Soul Edge
while offering new fighting system elements that will revolutionize the fighting
genre. Unleash a Critical Finish move to take out opponents with spectacular
effects, or go online for the first time in the franchise’s history to take on
adversaries across the globe.
Developed by Project Soul, the legendary team
behind Soul Blade and Soulcalibur I-III, Soulcalibur IV will be available
nationwide on July 29, 2008 for the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3.
