Fallen Earth Releases “State of
the Game” Announcement

Fallen Earth, LLC, creator of the
self-titled post-apocalyptic MMO Fallen Earth, celebrated milestones of the past
year in a letter to the community released today.

Fallen Earth’s development began
with restructuring the production method and achieving incremental milestones of
feature and content complete in 2008. Production tweaks led to tighter deadlines
and improved the creation of new towns. Since then, the team has been hard at
work improving the player experience—adding an extensive tutorial, managing the
Alpha sign-up process through the
Fallen Earth Web site,
and changes to the user interface while enhancing content to prepare for launch
later this year.

Fallen Earth’s achievements,
summarized in the “State of the Game” letter, demonstrate the improvements to
date:

  • More than 75,000 text strings

  • Almost 5,500 missions

  • More than 6,000 items

  • More than 14,000 unique
    characters/creatures

  • More than 143,000 in game objects

  • 70 towns

  • More than 600 hours of content

With a few months left of polish,
the Fallen Earth team anticipates a move to Closed Beta testing later this
spring. For more news, game updates, contests and information, visit
