A Look
at Disney’s G-Force

Prepare to save the world with this crafty group of
secret agent hamsters.

Based on the upcoming Jerry Bruckheimer-produced film,
Disney’s G-Force puts you in control of an elite squad of hamsters as they fight
through a variety of environments, taking on other creatures and even common
household appliances in their quest to defeat an evil billionaire bent on world
domination.

G-Force allows you to play as Darwin and Mooch; Darwin is
the leader of the G-Force squad, while Mooch is the surveillance expert (and a
housefly) of the team. The game will follow the plot of the movie, but only
towards the end with roughly 70 percent of the story being created solely for
the game.

G-Force is an action title first and foremost, presenting
the player with accessible controls and quirky combat. You’ll be able to use a
variety of weapons and special items in your quest, including jet packs, whips,
and different weaponry like lasers as you fend off 30 different enemy types.

As an added bonus, players who pick up either the 360 or
PS3 versions of the game will receive a pair of 3D glasses, which can then be
used in the game to play in 3D. This mode can be toggled on or off whenever the
player wants.

Here are some of the Key Features to be found in the
game:

•Unique gameplay requiring the player to switch between
Darwin, a guinea pig, and Mooch, a housefly
•Special abilities for each character: Darwin’s hoverpack lets players speed
through areas or fly up to higher altitudes; Mooch can slow down time
•Innovative platform puzzle solving to reach new areas and trigger gadgets
•New enemies, weapons and locations not seen in the film
•Characters’ voices match “G-Force” film: Sam Rockwell, Jon Favreau and Bill
Nighy

The game’s look will do more than capitalize on the 3D
gimmick employed by the film, but will also present cute and well-rendered
characters that do a fine job of emulating the look and feel of the film.

G-Force is looking to be an action-packed experience that
will definitely give fans of the film a chance to live out all of the covert
hamster excitement. G-Force is rated E10 and will be released on Xbox 360,
Nintendo DS, PC, PS2, PS3, PSP, and Nintendo Wii on July 21.
