EA Turns to GameSpy Industries to Distribute Multiplayer Demo for Medal of Honor Allied Assault
GameSpy's Technology and Distribution Muscle Gets Demos Onto More Desktops, Allows Instant Multiplayer Action; Exclusive Release on FilePlanet.com
IRVINE, Calif. - Game fans will get their first hands-on look at Electronic Arts' Medal of Honor Allied Assault in an exclusive multiplayer demo released today, courtesy of GameSpy's FilePlanet.com, the Internet's largest and most comprehensive game file download site.
EA has partnered with GameSpy to distribute the demo, offer exclusive multiplayer support through GameSpy Arcade, and provide customized technology to coordinate EA's Medal of Honor Allied Assault contest, in which fans can win a free copy of the full game.

Players will assume the role of Lt. Mike Powell, member of the famed 1st Ranger Battalion, as he travels from the battlegrounds of North Africa, to Omaha Beach, and finally, thrusting into the heart of Nazi Germany itself.
