History Channel’s Battle of Britain 1940

 

New Update Includes New Airplanes, Missions, and Massively Multiplayer Premium Arena!

 

            History Channel’s Battle of Britain 1940, published by Activision Value, Inc. and developed by iEntertainment Network Inc., has a new FREE update. The new update includes improved sounds, significant new aircraft including the JU 88, the JU 87 G, the Bf109G2, and the Do17Z, and a new online interface that allows all FREE Dogfighting Arena players to play in the main TotalSims servers with other WarBirds, Dawn of Aces, or Armored Assault players for a limited time.  All new History Channel Battle of Britain retail games also include ONE MONTH FREE in the Premium TotalSims arenas in addition to the ALL THE TIME, FREE, Massively Multiplayer FREE Dogfighting Arena.

 

The FREE massively multiplayer online gaming arena and the FREE Dogfighting Arena has also been upgraded.  Now bomber missions and fighter sweeps run continuously in the FREE Dogfighting Arena to make sure the player has plenty of targets in the FREE Dogfighting Arena.

 

(To get all these new features, players will have to use the Check for Updates button from their start menu.  The new update is about a 35 meg update.)

 

The FREE Dogfighting Arena includes topographically accurate terrain of the English Channel and surrounding areas. Pilots will also be able to test their flying skills in a historically accurate Axis ME 109 or an Allied Spitfire 1. Choose a side, Axis or Allied, and dogfight away, all for FREE! .   

 

            Additionally, with the new ‘Fly Me’ auto co-pilot feature, the player can pick his mission from a list of Instant Action or Campaign missions, click start, and the computer starts the player on his way.  The player can play without any help from the computer AI or with complete help with the AI.  Anytime the player wants to take control of the game, he can with a simple click of a ‘Fly Me’ button! When the player accomplishes his mission objectives, he can click on Auto Land and the AI takes him to a safe landing at the nearest friendly airfield!
