NDL’s Graphics Engine Powers Highly Anticipated Shrouded Isles Dark Age of Camelot Expansion Pack Showcases Impressive Graphic Enhancements
(Chapel Hill, NC – December 3, 2002) - NDL is in the spotlight again with the release of Mythic Entertainment’s highly anticipated Shrouded Isles , the expansion pack to the award-winning Dark Age of Camelot . Powered by NDL’s 3D graphics engine, Shrouded Isles takes advantage of the latest in 3D hardware and showcases all new state-of-the-art graphics. Among other new features, the game contains more realistic water with "wake" movement reflections, and extremely high-resolution textures that make every player, monster, and world object appear more realistic. Along with enhanced frame rate performances, the game also contains new shadow effects, special animation blending to allow monsters and other in-game characters to move moresmoothly and realistically, and Mip-mapping to reduce texture "sparkle" at long distances.
