Equipped with Microsoft^® Windows^® XP Media Center Edition 2005, the Alienware DHS 2 Series was created to replace nearly every home entertainment device.  The DHS 2 Series delivers the options and features of a DVD player and recorder, CD player and recorder, DVR, FM Tuner, CD jukebox and a high-performance PC.  In addition, all of the content from the DHS 2 Series can be shared with other TVs in the home through the use of Microsoft’s Media Center Extender devices.

With prices starting at $1,399, the DHS 2 Series can be customized with up to 4 GB of low latency DDR 400 SDRAM and up to 250 GB of storage packed in a low-profile, VCR-size design that seamlessly integrates into any home entertainment area.  The DHS 2 Series includes the option of using dual standard definition TV tuners that allow two shows to be recorded at once and optional built in Wireless G technology.  Designed to work with your existing equipment, the DHS 2 features standard A/V connectors so you can use the same cables you already own. As an exclusive source of DISCover^® Console Technology, the DHS 2 Series also introduces the ease of use of video game console style playing into the PC world.
