Kiefer Sutherland To Introduce World Television Premiere Clip Of 24: The Game At The Spike TV "Video Game Awards 2005"

Exclusive 24: The Game Clip From 2K Games Can Be Seen Only on Spike TV December 10 at 9 pm ET/PT

NEW YORK - November 18, 2005 - Kiefer Sutherland, star of the hit series "24" will introduce a World Television Premiere clip of the upcoming video game 24: The Game from 2K Games at the Spike TV "Video Game Awards 2005" that tapes this Friday, November 18 at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles and premieres on Spike TV Saturday, December 10 (9-11 p.m. ET/PT).

Set between seasons two and three, 24: The Game is a new day in the life of Jack Bauer and the members of the Los Angeles Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU). 24: The Game is an action-adventure title with more than 60 missions, including driving, gun fights, stealth, satellite tracking and interrogation.

Like the TV series, 24: The Game presents the story in multi-panel windows depicting events that happen simultaneously among different playable characters. 24: The Game is packed with jaw-dropping revelations that will captivate fans and shock newcomers. The video game is penned by script writers from the show and will be available in stores in early 2006 exclusively for PlayStation® 2.

Kiefer Sutherland will join Spike TV "Video Game Awards 2005" host Samuel L. Jackson and a roster of celebrities, including Charlize Theron and The Red Hot Chili Peppers among many others to pay tribute to the outstanding achievements of games, designers, animation, breakthrough technology, music and performances of the past year in the world of video games. The awards also provide a glimpse at the future of gaming, including exclusive sneak peeks and world premiere footage of some of the hottest and most anticipated games of 2006 and beyond.

The pulse-pounding fifth season of "24" will start with a four-hour, two-night season premiere on Sunday, January 15 and Monday, January 16 (8 - 10 p.m. ET/PT) on FOX. The second hour on Monday, January 16 (9-10 p.m. ET/PT) will be the series'100th episode. Created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran, "24" is a production of Real Time Productions and Imagine Television in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Brian Grazer, Joel Surnow, Robert Cochran, Howard Gordon and Evan Katz are the executive producers. Kiefer Sutherland is a co-executive producer.
