Dragon's Lair mania has begun!
Gearing up for its November launch, Dragon's Lair 3D: Return to the Lair slays its way into thousands of retail stores nationwide with a little help from technology giant, Intel. Dragon's Lair 3D: Return to the Lair will appear on Intel demo stations in more than 2000 stores, including Circuit City, Best Buy, CompUSA, MicroCenter, Costco and Gateway Country, now through March 2003. Dragon's Lair 3D is the all-new, 3D adventure based on the classic arcade game, and will launch on the PC on November 18.
Created by legendary animator, Don Bluth, the Dragon's Lair arcade game is well-known and loved by generations of game players and is credited with creating the adventure genre. It is one of only three games on display at the Smithsonian. True to the classic arcade phenomenon, Dragon's Lair sets players against the menacing dragon Singe and the evil wizard Mordroc to save the beautiful Princess Daphne. Dragon's Lair 3D features the famous arcade-style, pick-up-and-play gameplay with 18 levels and more than 250 rooms for players to explore, solve puzzles and uncover hidden secrets.
Dragon's Lair 3D: Return to the Lair will also launch on the Xbox(tm) video game system from Microsoft® on November 18.
