Shrapnel Games Announces Sellout of First Printing of Space Empires IV Due to demand title will be on backorder for 8 days as new copies are printed.

Cary, NC, November 14, 2000

Shrapnel Games announced today the initial run of Space Empires IV has completely sold out! Until a new run is printed the game will only be available via back ordering.

Tim Brooks, President of Shrapnel Games, said, "This is really unbelievable. We printed what we thought was enough copies to last through January 2001. Since announcing that we were shipping Space Empires IV, we have sold at a rate of eight to nine times what we expected. This game is very popular and we wish to apologize for this delay. We ask our fans to be patient during this period of expansion and growth. We currently have the printers working hard to get our next run of the game out of the doors and ready for shipment.

Space Empires IV retails for $39.95 and is available at Shrapnel Games' website at http://www.shrapnelgames.com. There is also a demo available for those that want a look before buying. Other avenues for distribution of the product include Chips & Bits.
