Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon(tm): The Demo hits 100,000 Downloads in 48 hours
Friday November 9th 2001: Ubi Soft is pleased to announce that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon(tm): The Demo has been downloaded over 100,000 times in the first 48 hours since its release on November 6th 2001.
Helene Juguet, Group Brand Manager for Ghost Recon commented," The tremendous response shows the high level of expectation for the game and confirms that Ghost Recon is one of the most anticipated PC titles for this Holiday season.'

The demo features one brand new mission that will not be included in the final game. The mission acts as a prequel to the storyline of the full retail version and will also have limited multiplayer support.
As a bonus, players who purchase the Retail copy of Ghost Recon will be able to integrate the Demo map into the retail version, providing an additional multiplayer map.
