New York, New York, November 5, 2002 – With the rush of new PC games hitting retail stores for the holiday season, titles from Infogrames, Inc. (Nasdaq: IFGM) are already standing out from the pack. The Company’s RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 and Unreal® Tournament 2003 ranked #1 and #4, respectively, on the list of top-selling PC software and Dora the Explorer™: Backpack Adventure ranked #1 on the Home Education charts, for the week ended October 19th, according to NPDTechworld.
RollerCoaster Tycoon 2, the sequel to the smash hit RollerCoaster Tycoon® that started the Tycoon craze, landed at the top of the charts with less than a full week at retail. Unreal Tournament 2003, the hotly anticipated follow up to 1999’s “Game of the Year” award-winning Unreal® Tournament, continued its strong showing since its release at the end of September, ranking #4 on the charts. Unreal Tournament 2003 was the #1 selling PC game for its first two weeks in release and #3 for the week ended October 19th, excluding expansion packs. On the PC Home Education charts, Dora the Explorer: Backpack Adventure maintained its stronghold on the #1 slot, a position it has held for five weeks.
