Go on an International Adventure with Travelogue 360: Paris
New Travel Game Series Offers Stunning Photography and 360 Degree Views of Famous Landmarks and Historical Buildings
Big Fish Games today announced the launch of Travelogue 360™: Paris, the first in a series of new adventure games that takes players to famous Parisian landmarks and locales of interest to hunt for specific items. This is the first casual game that allows players to search for objects in a 360 degree spherical point of view using photography of historical buildings and landmarks in Paris; a unique feature that uses a patent-pending mechanic.
“This game provides players with the ability to navigate an immersive 360 degree environment for the first time,” stated Paul Thelen, CEO Big Fish Games. “The stunning visuals are achieved by stitching together high resolution digital photos in a spherical pattern that allows users to look around in a free form manner; this games provides the illusion of actually being in Paris.”
An International Adventure
Players will embark on an international adventure in the City of Lights, Paris, France. During their rendezvous they will explore some of the city’s most famous locations, including the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph and Champs Elysees. At each location, players will receive a list of items to find and souvenirs to collect for their suitcase. Along the way they will be interviewed for an upcoming feature article in the fictional Travelogue 360 magazine. The game includes hundreds of items to find which are new and different each time the game is played.
“We want users to be transported into Parisian culture,” said Patrick Wylie, vice president of Big Fish Studios. “In Travelogue 360: Paris, players virtually experience the city by searching for items in stunning photographs of real locations.”
