Konami Announces DanceDanceRevolution Now Available For Wii and PlayStation 2
Best Selling Rhythm Based Game Takes the "Revolution" to Another Level With All New Modes, Licensed Master Tracks and Challenging Gameplay
Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., today announced DanceDanceRevolution HOTTEST PARTY 3 for Wii and DanceDanceRevolution X2 for the PlayStation 2 is available now in retail stores nationwide. Featuring new gameplay that delivers physically engaging, innovative and easy-to-pick-up-and-play mechanics, both games boast a bounty of new and enhanced features including improved graphics, new customizations, and all-new game modes. Also, for the first time, Wii users will be able to show off their moves using the Wii Balance Board.
Never short on a wide variety of great tunes, this year's DanceDanceRevolution versions of the best-selling franchise come with 50 all-new songs including major licensed master tracks and originals. No matter what musical taste a dancer might have, they will be able to find the perfect song as they choose from the likes of Rihanna (Disturbia), Ne-Yo (Closer), Pussycat Dolls (When I Grow Up), P!nk (So What), Black Eyed Peas (Let's Get it Started), and more.
The original get-up-and-move video game, DanceDanceRevolution has become known worldwide for its effectiveness as a fitness and weight loss tool. Like its predecessors, these DanceDanceRevolution titles come with a user-friendly "Workout Mode" that allows players to easily manage their personal information and watch the calories melt away on a calorie counter located on screen. The Wii is the place to be for DanceDanceRevolution this year as players can

Wii Nunchuk and Wii Remote and, for the first time, the Wii Balance Board™ they
can now follow the Hip Bump Arrows, Hip Rolls and Punch Markers while moving
their hips as they enjoy a full body dance experience. Additionally, the Wii™
exclusive Lesson Mode, "DDR School", teaches newcomers how to play
DanceDanceRevolution with ease.
DanceDanceRevolution X2
A staple on the PlayStation 2, DanceDanceRevolution has earned a reputation for
finding new ways to innovate the gameplay on the console every year. In this
year's version, Konami introduces the brand new "Dice Master Mode" where players
roll the dice to receive a dance challenge. If they choose to accept the
challenge, the pressure is on for them to prove that they are the ultimate
DanceDanceRevolution champion.

Championships
Whether they have learned their skills on the Wii, PlayStation 2 or any of the
other console or arcade versions of DanceDanceRevolution, the best of the best
now have the opportunity to prove it once-and-for-all. The DanceDanceRevolution
U.S. Championships national tournament taking place now through December 2009 at
GameWorks locations in select cities across the country. Open to all
competitors, the top eight performers will travel to Las Vegas for the finals
