KONAMI'S PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 4 CONQUERS FINLAND

Recently released Pro Evolution Soccer 4 for PS2 from Konami is conquering the Finnish market with a storm.

Konami's distributor in Finland, Toptronics Oy, is reporting extremely high sell-through levels. At the present Pro Evolution Soccer 4 is selling 10-to-1 against its closest competition..

Toptronics Oy's product manager Thomas Ekström commented " Konami has done a great job with Pro Evolution Soccer 4 - the quality of the game is unparalled. Together with Konami's organisation we have been able to build a brand awarness that is totally unchallenged. Pro Evolution Soccer 4 for PS2 is at the present most sold football game in market by far. Based on the sell-through information PES 4 is selling over 10 times more units than another football game".

Konami's Kenneth Klimborg commented "The information from Europe is that 1,9 m copies of PES 4 have now been delivered , Finland are showing that they are following the same trend as rest of Europe, Pro Evolution Soccer 4 is the number one football game for PS2. The fantastic sales start in Finland could not be possible without the strength and professional work from the team at Toptronics".
