Turner And Mobile2win Enter A Strategic Agreement For Interactive Wireless Solutions
Announces 8558 as the new short code for CNN, Cartoon Network and POGO -
New Delhi 25 October, 2005: Capitalising on the expanding wireless and emerging technologies business in India and to further extend its brand presence, Turner International India Pvt. Ltd. has entered into a strategic tie-up with Mobile2win India, one of the leading wireless services providers in India. As part of this latest venture, Mobile2win India will provide interactive wireless solutions for popular Turner International India channels, namely CNN, Cartoon Network and POGO.

Mobile2win will create SMS & IVRS solutions and also, premium mobile content: ringtones, wallpapers, themes, MMS cards, games, etc. Going forward, mobile2win will also create a WAP site for the Turner group, to showcase the rich content of Cartoon Network, POGO and CNN that will be available for download.
Kids can now participate in SMS contests developed for POGO’s fourth original production Bam! Bam! Bam! Gir Pade Hum… and POGO Amazing Kids Awards 2005, via the new short code 8558. As the year progresses, Cartoon Network’s signature event, Toon Cricket 2005 will also add mobile interactivity to their promotional plans. Further, CNN, the world’s news leader, will use the medium to offer sms contests under the deal as well.
