SUPERCAR STREET CHALLENGE™ ENTERS THE FASTLANE TO RETAIL SHELVES

Activision’s Tire Squealing Racer Has Gone Gold

Santa Monica, CA – October 26, 2001 – Activision, Inc.’s (Nasdaq: ATVI) asphalt searing racer for the PC, Supercar Street Challenge™, has entered the final stretch and is on it’s way to North American retail shelves. Supercar Street Challenge features nine licensed vehicles, and invites players to master 23 meticulously rendered courses set in London, Paris, Monaco, Los Angeles, Munich, Turin and Rome. Supercar Street Challenge is rated “E” (Everyone) by the ESRB and carries a suggested retail price of $39.99.

In addition to the licensed supercars featured in the game from the legendary design studios of Lotus™, Callaway™, Saleen™, Fioravanti™, Pagani™, Vision™, Bertone™, Rinspeed™ and General Motors™, Supercar Street Challenge gives players the opportunity to design their own dream machine with the Steve Saleen™ Styling Studio. From within the studio, players can morph any combination of front-ends, back-ends, tires and rear wings to create a vehicle with a completely custom body.

Physics make way for fun in Supercar Street Challenge as players can cheat the track to gain an edge by smashing through obstacles, cutting over sidewalks, and driving through buildings. Additionally, Supercar Street Challenge’s traditional arcade-style gameplay allow players to rub fenders or even smash into blockades without slowing down the action.
