BATTLEFIELD 1942 : SECRET WEAPONS OF WORLD WAR II SHIPS FOR MAC

Aspyr Media, Inc. today began shipping Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of World War II , which will be in stores nationwide by October 30th. Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of WWII, an expansion pack for Battlefield 1942, was developed for Mac by Aspyr Studios and is licensed by Electronic Arts.

In Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of WWII players can now defeat their enemies with a variety of experimental firepower and vehicles. These powerful new weapons and vehicles are rooted in World War II history, but never saw actual combat ­ until now. Gamers can become a one-man aerial assault unit when using a prototype rocket pack to fly and fight at the same time.

Players can use these weapons in eight massive WWII combat campaigns including Peenemüende, the V2 rocket research facility, and The Eagle¹s Nest, Hitler¹s hideaway. All new battlefields offer unique settings ranging from nightfall during the summer in Prague to a winter battle in Norway.

Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of WWII offers more man-to-man combat, as well. Drop from a cargo plane behind enemy lines and prepare for close combat with one-shot-kill knives, new machine guns, and more. Give all of these weapons and vehicles a trial by fire on tough, new battle maps.
