Korea's Ncsoft to Launch Online Game in China

SEOUL, Oct 20 Asia Pulse - NCsoft Corp. (KSE:36570), South Korea's largest computer game maker by market capitalization, said Wednesday it will launch a commercial service of its online role-playing game "Lineage II" in China beginning Nov. 10.

China will become the fifth country where "Lineage II" is commercially available, after South Korea, Japan, the United States and Taiwan, NCsoft said in a statement.

NCsoft said it attracted about 2 million Chinese subscribers for the online game in less than two months after beginning a trial service on Aug. 26.
