the centuries, with legend after legend, and DreamCatcher¹s sequel Beyond
Atlantis II follows in this tradition. Like its predecessor, the graphics in
the awe-inspiring PC adventure take adventurers on an completely immersive
exotic voyage.
In this new adventure, players follow a young female Egyptologist, who¹s
animated form is based on the French beauty Chiara Mastroianni. This
beautiful archaeologist is hoping to uncover the mysteries of this renowned lost
world, and her journey takes her from the palaces of the Thousand and One Nights
to the Hoggar desert, from the Egyptian Book of the Dead to the icy plains of
the Palaeolithic. Do the former Atlantians still exist? What is this
extraordinary power that would change the destiny of humanity forever? How many
challenges must be faced before the truth is finally revealed? It is the
player¹s job to find the answers to these questions.
Storyline
It¹s 2020. The Hoggar desert. A magnificent
star-studded sky. A campfire crackles. The Tuareg puts a twig on the fire.
The dromedary stands close by. The sleeping heroine, with her head bandaged,
slowly awakes. She learns that her 4x4 has broken down, and that she is being
taken care of by the handsome Tuareg š
Meet the heroine of Beyond Atlantis II, a young Egyptologist who is searching
for a metropolis built, according to her information, by the Ancient Egyptians
and located near a well not far from here. Our protagonist is interested in the
existence of this city for two reasons: It has not yet been "discovered" and it
is a long way from Egypt, which makes it somewhat mysterious. As for her
companion, Tuareg, he is a loner, a man who lost his family some years ago and
decided to turn his back on the modern world and live as his ancestors did.
Refusing to leave our heroine alone in the desert, Tuareg decides to go with
her. The young Egyptologist has no idea that soon she will be plunged into the
most mysterious and dangerous of adventures: the quest for Atlantis.
