A demo for Need for Speed Carbon, the latest iteration from Electronic Art’s best-selling racing franchise, ripped its way onto the Xbox Live Marketplace yesterday. Included in the 1.06 GB download are three sample rides - the Lancer Evolution 1X MR Edition, the Chevrolet Camaro SS, and the Lamborghini Gallardo.

Gamers will choose one of these vehicles to show-off their driving finesse against four other in-game cars (Mazda RX-7, Mazda Mazdaspeed3, Aston Martin DB9, Dodge Charger SRT) and battle for racing supremacy. They’ll burn rubber on three types of races: drift, circuit and a Canyon face-off with resident trash-talker, Kenji. The demo also lets gamers get their hands on the revolutionary customization tool, Autoscuplt™, which allows racers to mold  their vehicles to the limits of their imagination.

Need for Speed Carbon is rated E10+ and will be released on all platforms this November.
