ACTIVISION VALUE SIGNS EXCLUSIVE

WORLDWIDE DISTRIBUTION DEAL WITH LEGACY INTERACTIVE

Activision to Distribute Heart-Stopping ER Action to the World

Santa Monica, CA - October 4, 2000 - Activision Value, a division of Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI), and Legacy Interactive today announced that they have entered into an exclusive one-year agreement whereby Activision Value will distribute future releases in Legacy's line of Real Life(tm) and Family Fun(tm) products throughout the United States and Canada. In addition, Activision Value will act as primary distributor for Legacy Interactive's complete line of products worldwide.

Under the terms of the agreement, Activision Value will sell and distribute Legacy Interactive's exciting new interactive CD Rom game, Code Blue®, which is scheduled to hit retail stores early in November. One of the largest multimedia Screen Actors Guild productions ever completed, Code Blue® contains 52 speaking roles and stars Stephen Collins from WB Network's, 7Th Heaven. Code Blue® is the most ambitious Real Life(tm) production to date by Legacy Interactive, which focuses on interactive games that involve realistic role playing in the popular arena of "Real Life" television drama that no other software publisher is actively pursuing. Legacy is also publisher of the best-selling Emergency Room® series, which consists of Emergency Room Life or Death®, Emergency Room Disaster Strikes® and Emergency Room 2®. The series has sold more than 450,000 units worldwide.

"The market for interactive games like Code Blue and our popular Emergency Room series is growing dramatically," said Ariella Lehrer, president of Legacy Interactive. "PC game playing has become a 'mainstream' activity and people, especially women, are drawn to games that simulate their favorite television dramas."

The agreement allows Activision to begin distributing Legacy Interactive's software in the 4th quarter of calendar 2000.

"Legacy Interactive has a proven track record of developing products with strong consumer appeal," states Dan Hammett, president, Activision Value. "We expect this expertise and Activision Value's powerful distribution capabilities to result in a very successful, on-going relationship."

Founded in September, 1998, Legacy Interactive® is a privately held, Hollywood, CA based interactive entertainment company that develops and publishes Real Life(tm) and Family Fun(tm) games. Since its inception, it has published three Emergency Room® titles, Emergency Room 2, Emergency Room Disaster Strikes, and Emergency Room Life or Death and Time Out Games. The Company's revenues in 1999, its first full year of operation, were more than $2.5M. More information about Legacy Interactive can be found at www.legacyinteractive.com
