Atari Plans Patch for the Temple of Elemental Evil
Significant Feedback from Player Community Used to Fine-Tune and Update Latest Dungeons & Dragons Role-Playing Game
LOS ANGELES – Oct. 3, 2003 – Atari today announced plans to develop a patch for its recently released PC CD-ROM game, The Temple of Elemental Evil™, set in the Dungeons & Dragons® World of Greyhawk created by Wizards of the Coast. The patch, which is initially slated to release later this month, will address a number of issues associated with the retail release of the product, including: technical fixes and general fine tuning; a variety of quest clarifications; corrections for some race and class inconsistencies, such as miscalculated attack modifiers and incorrect weapon and spell use; as well as a number of interface updates.
Developed by Troika Games, The Temple of Elemental Evil features an exciting party-based, single-player campaign, an engaging storyline based on the classic D&D® adventure of the same name, as well as a faithful translation of the latest version 3.5 rules. The Temple of Elemental Evil is now available at retail stores nationwide with an estimated retail price of $49.95 and an ESRB rating of “T” for Teen.
