1-bit Ninja Lite now on App Store

The mobile gaming scene has changed quite a bit as of late. It's funny, because I never thought I would say that. I used to dislike gaming on iOS devices because I thought it was super gimmicky and geared toward the casual crowd.

While that's certainly still the case a lot of the time, there are a few exceptions. Games like Infinity Blade, Jetpack Joyride, and 1-bit Ninja have given core gamers a reason to care about mobile gaming, and these games still don't alienate the casual player.

1-bit Ninja, in particular, has been heralded as an addictive platformer that not only harks back to old school 2D titles, but also throws in a few modern touches--such as manipulating the camera using the touchscreen to find hidden trinkets.

If you've never played 1-bit Ninja and you're curious about the game, you'll be glad to know that a lite version has just been made available on the iTunes App Store. 1-bit Ninja Lite features the first five levels of the game, which should provide you with a nice taste of what to expect from the full game.

Check it out! Chances are you'll be compelled to buy the main game, which only costs $1.99 anyway.
