Manhunt 2: The Daniel Lamb Session
Complicated, dark and disturbing, The Daniel Lamb Session has finally debuted, at www.rockstargames.com/manhunt2/lamb.
The Daniel Lamb Session is an exclusive web-only companion prologue to the events of Manhunt 2 featuring key backstory revelations. The audio component was scripted, directed, and recorded by Rockstar on vintage analog equipment, in order to capture the grim, thick atmosphere of Manhunt 2. This nighmarishly unsettling therapy session is performed by the original voiceactors who portray Daniel Lamb and Dr. Laura Whyte in the game.
The Daniel Lamb Session is the third installment in a series of Manhunt 2 web-exclusive companion pieces, preceded by The Dixmor Test Subjects Files and The Leo Kasper Session, released earlier this year.
The Dixmor Test Subjects Files www.rockstargames.com/manhunt2/dixmor disclosed an interactive selection of research experiment documents unearthed from the Dixmor Asylum For the Criminally Insane. Leafing through these documents and their accompanying media reveals the disturbing extremes to which the institution is willing to go.
The Leo Kasper Session www.rockstargames.com/manhunt2/kasper is another unsettling original audio transcription of a Dr. Whyte therapy session - here conducted with the hostile and psychopathic Dixmor patient, Leo Kasper. The session reaches a shocking, confrontational ending that must be experienced.
Through the events of today's all new Daniel Lamb Session, you will learn more about the true meaning of "The Pickman Project".
"The Pickman Project" ruined Dr. Daniel Lamb’s life, destroying his family and his future, and sent him down a spiraling path of paranoia and dementia. Locked in Dixmor Asylum for 6 years, the once-ambitious research scientist began to question if the life he knew before "the project" even really existed, until one fateful night, a freak electrical storm knocks out the power at Dixmor, allowing Daniel and fellow inmate, Leo Kasper, to escape...
