Tekken®4 Tournament

San Jose, September 19, 2002 – Namco Hometek Inc. has announced that it will host a real-life Iron Fist tournament for Tekken 4, available for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system on September 24^th.

  The event will take place at the PlayStation store inside the Sony Metreon in San Francisco on Saturday, September 28^th, from 12-4 p.m.  With giveaways including t-shirts, tattoos, demo discs and more, tournament contestants will be given the opportunity to win their very own Tekken 4 Arcade unit.  Only the first 256 combatants will be allowed to enter the tournament.  Registration will be On-line at http://www.namco.com/tekken4/ starting September 20th, 2002.  Please make sure to read the official contest rules.  Tekken 4 Demo discs will be made available, prior to the tournament, at the PlayStation store so contestants can practice their skills.  Tekken fans and gamers everywhere are invited to attend this event to find out who the real King of Ironfist is!
