Racing enthusiasts can begin preparing for their next season of off-road driving as Microsoft Game Studios announced today the launch of the official RalliSport Challenge site, http://www.rallisportchallenge.com. The official RalliSport Challenge site also features sections for each of the game's four race types: Rally, Rallycross, Hill Climb and Ice Racing. In the cars and classes section, visitors can read up on the game's various racing classes and its 29 fully licensed cars. Through the streaming RalliSport Challenge video and selection of screenshots, racing fans will get a glimpse of the game's impressive visuals.
Developed by Digital Illusions CE, RalliSport Challenge provides a unique racing experience that combines four types of Rally competition, Hill Climb, Traditional Rally, Rallycross and Ice Racing, into one game. With 29 fully licensed cars to choose from and 48 tracks to race on, RalliSport Challenge provides gamers with the thrill of racing fast cars on all types of terrain. RalliSport Challenge features advanced graphics, including swaying trees, animated crowds and ultrarealistic particle effects, as cars run through mud, dirt, snow and water. In addition, RalliSport Challenge delivers distinctive audio effects from the actual cars, enabling racers to distinguish the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO V1 from the Peugeot 306. The PC version will support network play for up to four competitors. RalliSport Challenge will be available this November.
