A TALE TO BEHOLD! NAMCO UNVEILS OFFICIAL “TALES OF LEGENDIA(TM)” WEBSITE
Site of Epic RPG Now Live
SANTA CLARA, Calif., (September 14, 2005)
– Leading video games publisher and developer Namco Hometek Inc. announced today that an official teaser site for the highly anticipated RPG, “Tales of Legendia(TM)” is live at http://tales.namco.com/legendia/. The site explores the game’s storyline, background information about the characters and unique Crossover Linear Motion Battle System (X-LiMBS). The latest title in the tremendously popular “Tales” franchise, “Tales of Legendia” is developed exclusively for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system and will be available in February 2006.“Tales of Legendia” begins when Senel Coolidge and his sister, Shirley Fennes, stumble upon an enormous island-sized ship called the “Legacy.” Their quest to uncover the origins of the ship draws them into an epic journey that will ultimately determine the fate of the world.
The revolutionary real-time battle system was developed utilizing the technology from SOULCALIBUR(R), enabling players to dispose of colossal monsters with the intensity of a fighting game, including the ability to throw enemies for the first time in a Tales game. A uniquely vivid cast of characters makes its debut, all of whom were designed by renowned artist Kazuto Nakazawa of Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and Samurai Champloo.
