SCREENS FOR LAW & ORDER: JUSTICE IS SERVED
Hollywood, Calif., September 14, 2004 – Legacy Interactive, a leading
games developer bringing television's greatest dramas to life on the PC,
announced today the availability of fifteen new screenshots for Law & Order:
Justice Is Served, the company's latest addition to the Law & Order
franchise. The new screens offer a detailed look at the three main gameplay
elements: the crime, investigation and trial, as well as celebrity appearances
from Elizabeth Röhm, Jerry Orbach, and Jesse L. Martin. Law & Order:
Justice is Served will be distributed by Vivendi Universal Games and is
slated to hit retail outlets in October 2004.
Based on the Emmy Award-winning TV drama, "Law & Order", Law & Order: Justice
is Served immerses players in a murder mystery involving a young female
tennis star. Featuring two phases of exciting & challenging gameplay, players
join their favorite stars from the TV show to first solve the crime and then try
the case.
Players will first assume the role of Detective in the investigation, having to
gather and analyze evidence, solve puzzles, and interrogate witnesses along side
recognized Detectives Lennie Briscoe (Orbach) and Ed Green (Martin). In the
trial phase, players take on the role of Assistant District Attorney working
alongside A.D.A. Serena Southerlyn (Röhm) to build a strong case against the
defendant in order to convince the jury to return a guilty verdict.

After celebrating its astounding 300th episode in May 2003, Emmy Award-winning
"Law & Order" is in the middle of its 14th season on NBC and is television's
longest-running current drama. Created and executive produced by the legendary
Dick Wolf, "Law & Order" continues to deliver some of the highest ratings on
television, scoring #3 for any drama on any network among adults 18-49 for each
of the past three seasons. Filmed entirely on location in New York City, this
realistic program looks at crime and justice from a dual perspective. Some
cases may be simple, but most are multi-faceted. The investigations are
challenging, prosecutions are complicated, and decisions about legal procedures
and plea-bargaining vexing. In the arduous and complex process of determining
guilt and innocence, lives often hang in the balance.
"Law & Order" is licensed by Universal Studios Consumer Products Group (USCPG),
which is responsible for global licensing and retail strategies as well as
building brand recognition of the extensive catalogue of NBC Universal
properties.
