TimeShift Shifted to 2007
Vivendi has pushed back their recently acquired FPS TimeShift to 2007. The game, originally set to debut this September, was delayed to allow for more development time.
A release from Vivendi states, "Vivendi Games acquired TimeShift with the view that it would become a stand out FPS franchise. Our commitment to that vision remains, and so the decision has been taken to move the title into 2007 to give it the time and resources needed to fulfill its potential."
About TimeShift
Based in the near future, TimeShift tells the story of renowned test pilot Colonel Michael Swift, who has been tapped by the US Government to test two of the most significant inventions of the century - a time-control device called the Quantum Suit and a time machine called the Chronomicon. Swift is briefly sent back in time to 1911 to plant an experimental probe. Upon his return to the present, the world has changed beyond all recognition, and his knowledge of this timeshift has made him an enemy of the state. Swift is now both on the run and on a mission to set time straight once again and the world's very existence rests in his hands.
