Namco Hometek Inc. today released new screens for “Mage Knight Apocalypse” its upcoming action role-playing game for the PC based on the best-selling collectible miniature game from WizKids Games.

These new screens include a look at the dwarven gunner hero class, players battling the gigantic Troll Smasher in co-op multiplayer mode and a devastating storm blast attack unleashed by a Mage Oak. “Mage Knight Apocalypse” follows the events of the upcoming Mage Knight storyline, in which a solemn battle cry has been heard throughout the world, beckoning for stalwart heroes from all reaches of land to battle an army of pure evil. These evil forces seek to resurrect the Apocalypse Dragon, a seemingly unstoppable five headed juggernaut of destruction. Impervious to harm from a single source, only a band of five legendary fighters can slay the Dragon and restore peace to the celebrated Mage Knight universe.

“Mage Knight Apocalypse” is scheduled for release in April 2006.
