Burnout 3: Takedown Soundtrack Announced

The musical soundtrack for EA’s highly-anticipated Burnout 3: Takedown will feature more than 40 songs from bands including Jimmy Eat World, Yellowcard, New Found Glory, and many more.  Delivering an authentic radio experience complete with commentary from DJ Stryker from alternative radio station KROQ-FM in Los Angeles, the in-game soundtrack will get adrenaline junkies’ hearts pumping as they take to the streets in Burnout 3: Takedown.

The soundtrack has more songs than any other EA title since the 2002 debut of the EA TRAX music initiative.  This program is dedicated to elevating the in-game entertainment experience by delivering breakthrough music in all EA SPORTS, EA GAMES and EA SPORTS BIG releases.

Burnout 3: Takedown features a unique aggressive racing concept and a one-of-a-kind special effects engine that delivers spectacular visuals. The intensity heats up as players race, and often crash, their way through oncoming traffic in an attempt to claim the top spot. Boasting multiple single-player, multiplayer and online crash and race modes, Burnout 3: Takedown offers players the opportunity to race through busy city streets and be rewarded for taking risks that result in heart-pounding action and electrifying crashes.

Burnout 3: Takedown is rated “T” (Teen) by the ESRB and is slated for worldwide release in September 2004 for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system and Xbox video game system from Microsoft.
